Cable Ambush vs Double Edge Blade

February 5, 2011
It is very interesting to note that the Cable Ambush strategy (our 2010 strategy) returned greater profit than our Double Edge Blade strategy.  CA produced profit of $138 (see our previous post), vs. DEB profit of $334 (see chart below)

This confirms our hypothesis that DEB has a lower risk profile, with lower returns.  However we didn't anticipate such a big difference.  We will observe it over the next few weeks and report our findings.

Finally a Breakout

January 16, 2011
As anticipated, we had a breakout, although we didnt know it would be to the upside and we missed the opportunity. It is a pity, as we had a clasical R1 bounce, retrace to mid (M3), run to R2 then again retrace to mid (M4) and two failed attempts on R3.
However, we made $158.15 during the first part of the week, so lets bank it and move on.
