Market moves while we are away

The Cable moved nicely South [see pic], but we were not in a position to take advantage of the move. We are resuming our trading activity next week.

Cable is Picking Up the Pace

Cable is picking up the pace, with a good trading range of 364 PIPs for the week. On Tuesday GBP rallied to R1 level then on Thursday dropped all the way to the S1 level, and on Friday it printed a double bottom finishing near M2 level.  We took three trades and we made $235 [see below our equity curve].



We are going to China for few days and we will resume trading the following week.

Boring Cable

Last week Cable hovered between the M2 and M3 levels.  We shouldn't be trading at these levels, but eventually we resorted to taking a half of the usual positions at the M2 and closed it at PP. Then on Friday Cable penetrated the S1 level and we made another small profit.
Overall, we made only $57.25 for the week, but we should be satisfied, as most traders bleed their accounts in this kind of markets. Hopefully the market perks-up next week.

In May 2011 we made a profit of $738, or equity growth of 4.8%.



However, last week our positions didn't get filled and we didn't get any trades.
