In July we had another round of bailout in EU and debt ceiling issues in the US. We limited our trading to minimum, not to be exposed to excessive risk and we ended the month with a modest profit. We made $611.50, or 3.7% capital growth.

Missed the Opportunity

Last week Cable moved nicely from the PP equilibrium level to the R1 resistance, but unfortunately we missed the opportunity.
We did take one scalper-trade on Monday with $21.50 profit, but scalping is not part of our main strategy so it is not even worth mentioning.

Short but Profitable Week

Last week the market was good to us. THe market ranged from PP to S2 and back to R1. It played well into our hands and we made $337.50 profit for the week. We are closing shop early (Friday 8h00 London time) and going away for the weekend.

Ranging Market Again

We had a slow, ranging market between the R1 and S1 levels. We took four small trades and we made $182.  Nothing to brag about, but profit nevertherless. Hopefully we have some substantial directional moves next week.

June 2011

In June we made $476.50 or 2.9% equity growth. As you can see from the mostly flat equity curve, between our real job and some travels, we didn't have much time to trade. However, it is encouraging that we can stop and start our trading without missing a beat.
