In December we made a profit of $788.30. In the 4th quarter of 2011, our equity grew by 9.0%. And finally, for the full year (2011) our equity grew by staggering 60.4%. That is a spectacular performance, given all the problems we had in the financial markets!
We are logging off and will restart our trading on the 2-Jan-2012.

Few Scalps before Christmas

We are officially on holidays, but it is hard to stay away from the open market completely. As such, last week we have taken few surgical trades, ensuring that we don't get stuck in an open position over the holidays. From the equity curve you can see that not all our scalps were successful, but overall we managed to make a modest profit of $61.80.

Nervous Week before Christmas

With all the uncertainty in the Euro zone, we are taking very small positions to manage our risk. Last week we took three trades and we made only $135.50. However, our account is now over $20k and we are considering closing shop for holidays. Our capital growth stands at 58.99% (YTD) and it would be nice to close the year with 60%, but hey, is it worth taking the risk in these volatile markets? I am not convinced.

Excellent Trade in a Sideways Market

Last week we had another sideways market ranging in between the Pivot (PP) and Resistance (R1) levels. We took a long position and when the market touched R1 level we closed the position with a profit of $476.50.
