Small Test for 2012

This week we deviated from our 2011 strategy to test some assumptions for our new strategy (to be deployed in 2012). Well, we made a profit of $297.20 and we broke through our 2010 (full year) performance.  In 2011 (YTD) our equity grew 47.1% vs. 45.8% (full year 2010) and we still have four trading months to go!

Good Market, Little Profit

We had a very good market moves this week, but unfortunately we were concerned about the market risk and we were managing our positions very tightly. As a result we made only $122.
However, we are 44.7% up year to date, and next week we should overtake the last year's full year result.

Good Week

Last week we made $277, which is nothing to brag about, but we are a fraction behind the last year's (full year) growth. Please note, we have a new representation of our equity curve, with the account balance represented as bars (green histogram) and we added the fluctuating profit/loss on the open transactions, which is a pure form of equity curve (yellow line).

Volatility is Returning

With all the uncertainty in the financial markets we had some nice directional moves.  We made five trades during the week #31, with a gain of $411 profit or 2.4% equity growth.
