The Cable strengthened gradually in April and we capitalised on the majority of the directional moves. We made a profit of $715 or 4.9% equity growth. See the Equity Curve on the chart below.

We didn't shoot the lights out in April, but our YTD performance is 23.6% and overall we are comfortable with our performance.

Steady Week

Last week Cable had a strong directional move and we executed four profitable trades. In total we made only $246, but we executed all trades flawlessly. Due to all the religious holidays, market is going sideways again. Lets see if we get to trade this week.

Good Trade in a Narrow Market

We had a very narrow trading market, with Cable ranging between M2 (mid) resistance and M3 (mid) support levels. We took only one trade last week and we made $244.50 on the single directional move from M3 to M2 level.

Markets like to take-off after a brief consolidation. Lets see if we get lucky next week and get a breakout.

Missed Opportunity

Finally we had a fantastic run with Cable hitting and perforating the resistance levels R1, R2 and R3. We capitalised on the R1 level (see the chart with equity curve below), but we missed the opportunity on the R2 and R3 levels.
Oh well, we made $156.50 for the week and the market will not be taken away from us anytime soon...

March 2011
In March 2011 we had some directional moves within a range of 500 pips. The market was relatively stable and hardly affected by the economical crisis and political instability. We made a profit of $761.30 for the month, which translates into 5.5% equity growth [see chart below].
