Christmas Week

We made $228.50 this week with small counter-trend position.  Unfortunately we are still holding an open position for the second week.  We were looking forward to the price retracing back to the Weekly Pivot Point, but unfortunately it never happened.  We cannot rush the market, and we will keep our powder dry for next week.

Near the Finish Line

Last week we made $349.50, but we carry some open positions into next week. We are fast approaching Christmas and market liquidity is drying up, allowing fewer traders make larger moves.
It works in our favour, but one has to be careful not to take too large positions [read assume too much risk in a thin market].
Last Friday Cable reached S3 support level, after US Leading Indicators Index increased by most in 8 months.

Chipping away

Last week we observed Cable consolidation within a trading range of 200 pips. This allowed us to recompose ourselves after the volatility of the previous two weeks.
It is rather difficult to trade in choppy markets, but we have taken the opportunities that were available to us and we made $384.50 profit. We are satisfied with the outcome, especially given the current trading conditions. The chart shows how choppy was the market, but with our methods we were on the right side of the market.

Les Miserables Week

We had a pathetic week and we made only $83.60, but as you can see on the chart, the Cable was chopping sideways, hovering between the Pivot Range Low and Mid 2 [S1] levels.  Only on Friday we had a directional move, which we made money on.

November 2010

In November we had some nice Cable moves with many opportunities.  Unfortunately due to the nature of our full-time job we were not able to capitalise on it.  Still, we made $683.20, so lets not be to harsh on ourselves [see below the equity curve].
